Investigation

Russ Rivard (Edmonton)

I work for the Government of Alberts and am currently on administrative leave with pay. I am under investigation for time fraud, miss use of government assets. I am awaiting an investigator (third party law firm) to contact me for questioning. I have a mental disability (GAD, PTSD, Severe depression) that is diagnosed. My employer will be questioning me on what I did on a specific day over a year ago. It is impossible to remember what I did a year ago. My mental condition has affected my performance and I told my manager on several occasions that I am struggling. Now my employer is trying to fire me. I am not sure what I will say during questioning. I do not know what my rights are. I am willing to hire but have limited funds. I need some advice on how to approach questioning and what if I get fired.
