We are in the process of a civil suit with a local business. Due to the interactions with the business, lack of communication, and no refund, we have reason to suspect it may be a scam. We have posted the factual communication on Facebook to warn others. (quoting text only) The only thing that we don't know is if it's a "scam." Could we be sued for defamation? All statements are true and direct quotes from the written communication, it was published as a warning to others, and no opinions were added.
