Hello, my name is Andrew. I am asking a question to whoever sees this. I was frauded out of my life savings by a friend who was mentoring me while I was in a men's treatment center for drugs and alcohol. He proclaimed himself to be a personal investor and he basically said to me that he was going to invest my money in a hundred percent safe investments and that he was going to also provide payments to my mother to support her and her financial difficult situation she was in using the prinple. I've been advised to take this to criminal law rather than civil law this is complicated because the the person that perpetrated the act lives in Alberta. I live in Alberta now but the act itself was when I was in kelowna in the treatment center. What would be the next steps I should be taking here to find out what the process should be? Thank you!
