i am a member of gift lake metis settlement our elections are under the metis settlement act / election regulations and the local authorities election act i want to ask a judge to order interim that the position of councilor in our recent election be put on hold due to quasi criminal (due influence) until the trial is concluded (preliminary injunction) what would the process be(forms etc..) ?
This is a very specific question and there aren't many municipal law lawyers out there. Given that 19 days have elapsed without an answer, I'm guessing that the lawyers in our directory don't know the answer, or it may be too complex for them to answer as I'd guess there isn't a template form for that.
